This year, the iconic athletic brand FILA launched a new line of clothing and footwear inspired by the outdoors called FILA: Explore.

The styles of the line are inspired by world-renowned mountaineer and explorer Reinhold Messner who scaled Everest without oxygen, climbed fourteen of the worlds highest mountains, walked across Antarctica, and broke dozens of climbing records—all while decked out in FILA attire. Our film series brought Messner’s bravery to everyday life and asked the question: if Reinhold Messner can climb Everest alone, what small victory can you claim for yourself today?

The line launched in Chicago in the summer of 2019 and we created this four-part series of mini-films to accompany, all set in the heart of the city.
